This hostel was formerly known as the New Atlantic (December 2004). Fantastically well connected from Heathrow airport and tube stations! Paddington underground and railway station is within 5 minutes walk. Plenty of buses incl. nos 36, 36A, 7, 15, 23, 27. By road, M40 and M4

Metered parking is available outside the hotel and the nearest car park is a NCP close to Queensway which is within good walking distance.

Description

This popular 5 storey hotel is centrally situated in a residential square close to Hyde Park and Bayswater and the main town centre. It comprises 212 bedrooms and some 460 beds providing multi type rooms from singles to family rooms of 6 beds! Bunk beds are also available. The rooms are offered with or without bath or shower and all have telephones and television sets.

The hotel also has dormitories (up to 6 beds) with shared bathroom facilities for youth groups. Rates are from £16 per person and includes VAT tax.

Special weekly rates are also available on request from a single room with shared bathroom at £127 per week and a twin room with shared bathroom from £182 per week.

Please note that the above rates are per room per night and include vat tax.

No advance payment is required. You only pay the hotel when you are in London.

You may cancel up to 48 hours before your date of arrival and there is no charge. If you cancel after this time, you will be charged for the first night's stay.

Our Comments

This hotel is a great location for youth groups and backpackers visiting London on a budget. There is easy access to all major tourist attractions. The hotel would suit young travelers as there is a snooker/pool table, video games etc. and it has its own bar which has become a popular meeting place.
