Nottinghill Gate underground station is less than a 5 minute walk. The area is well served by local transportation with plenty of buses to the West End (downtown). Marble Arch and the famous Oxford Street are only 3 stops direct on the central line. (Approx. 10 minutes)

Metered parking is available outside the hotel and the nearest car park is off the Bayswater road which is within a few minutes walking distance.

This grand mid 19th Century Victorian Hotel (built circa.1850) is centrally situated in a quiet residential square in the heart of fashionable Notting Hill in Kensington. The immediate locality is renowned for its bustling bohemian lifestyle with its trendy shops and restaurants. The hotel comprises 30 bedrooms over 4 floors (with lift/elevator) providing multi type rooms from singles to family rooms of 3 beds. All the rooms provide private ensuite bathrooms.

Please note the hotel cannot take 'visa electron' credit cards as guarantees for arrival because these cards cannot be charged for 'no show' or late cancellations in the absence of the client.

You may cancel up to 72 hours before your date of arrival and there is no charge.

Cancellation & Amendment Policy: if you cancel or amend your reservation within 72 hours of your arrival date (check in time of 1:00pm), we will charge you for one night's stay. All cancellations and amendments must be submitted to the hotel's agents in writing.

For group bookings of more than two rooms and bookings for stays longer than 14 days we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm the bookings and a 100% non-refundable deposit for the entire stay 14 days prior to arrival.

Our Comments

The hotel is centrally located in this fashionable part of London. (The British film 'Notting Hill' with actor Hugh Grant, was shot close by in the locality.) The hotel is now back in the hands of the owners and is proving very busy with tourists and sightseers. This budget hotel represents excellent value for money.
